Throughout FEAST's proven Health & Wellness Program, up to 15 participants meet weekly for two hours. In the first hour, we offer practical knowledge, like how to read a nutrition label and cook healthy, satisfying meals on a budget. The second hour is a sharing circle, which provides a forum for open, honest, confidential and safe conversation about what is going on in your world around food, family, health and self-esteem. Participants go home with a bag of fresh fruits and vegetables each week along with customized recipes. FEAST Virginia also coordinates with other organizations to provide additional support and referrals for job training and placement, educational opportunities and greater access to health services and education. Most importantly, our program is completely free for all participants. To register: click the button below.
